I have w datatool system 3 on my 5rr and the f*****g thing won't disarm ! What's wrong with it ? The battery is charged the fobs are all good. It disarms sometimes, one in about 10 goes after the alarm is going off for like 10 minutes someone help !
Do you know your override PIN? So you can disarm with the ignition key? I had a similar problem with a system 3 alarm on my old bike. Never got to the bottom of it. It did it constantly when touring once. When we got back it stopped doing it....more trouble than they're worth I reckon.... Maybe it's local interference?
I don't have the pin, well I can still start the bike if the alarm is armed so I was just thinking of taking the fuse out and cutting the siren wire would that be alright ?
Did you fit the alarm (or have it fitted) from new? If so and you've never set the PIN it won't have one set so you'll be able to set a new one.
