Very nice mate, great bikes. I have a black one but also have a set of black and red fairings to put on one day as I think it is a great colour scheme.
Cheers, just put the standard can back on rather than the bodged can that was on it. Someone had welded sections of link pipe together to make it fit. The welding was errrrrrrrrrr? Crap.
Don't know pal. It had a piece of tin wrapped round it and a slot cut in the heat shield. It was then bolted at the back of the frame, where the frame sections meet under the seat. I've fitted a new heat shield which isn't slotted and I've even reconnected and set up the exhaust valve (unheard of!) Went for a blast this aft, top bike, it's awesome, love it. Cheers.
Cheers all. Love that fireblade, I know it's sad, I keep going in the garage with a cup of tea to look at it. Hmmmmm! :-o
Not sad at all................ LOL. Looks a stunning bike, must have had a caring owner previously. You must be well pleased.
Going to Scotland in June, can't wait, there's 10 from work going. Bikes going range from a Bonneville, 2x XJR1300'S, 2xBMW R1200GS, GSXR 1000 K7 etc........ Don't ask the age range! If you added it up you'd be into the thousands!
