Hi to all, my name is Nick and i am new to this forum although far from new to biking. I have been on two wheels for many years now, over 20 in fact, yes old biker! I have always had sports tourers but now that the wife has decided pillion is not for her any more I decided to go for something a little sportier, the fireblade on an 08 has ticked all of the boxes and I have had it for about 3 years, I have never put the pillion saddle on so she thinks it is a one seater, ha ha. I'm a bit of a fair weather rider these days, but enjoy every single ride. I'm already enjoying some of the good weather we have had this spring. I live on the outskirts of Gloucester and regularly take rides out to the Malverns, Cotswolds and into Wales. The forum is interesting with plenty of info so I'll be a regular browser.
You really wouldn't want to see it right now, investigating a misfire and have all fairings off, tank off, airbox off, it looks so sad right now and still haven't found the cause. I just hope I can remember how it all goes back together.
Put a new thread in the 'Maintenance' board, describing your issue, Nick. See if some of the gurus can help shed some light on it.
