well after a little luck and a lot of effort, my bike is featured in Fast Bikes magazine this month. A few months back, I answered a Facebook post from the magazine asking for bikes that could adorn the centre pages, never thinking my bike ever going to feature as there are so many nice bikes out there. After a few emails saying they fancied featuring it, and a bit of back and fore regards the timing for the photoshoot, I "popped" down to their global headquarters from Aberdeen.. Just a 10.5hr drive in the pissing rain! Stayed the night in a premier inn and got the pictures done at a skate board park in the morning. 8.5hrs back up the road, drop the hire van and home again.. A very long trip, some great photos and a bit of crac with my mate Danny and we got through it. Would I do it all again for a photo shoot? Probably not but I guess the centre pages of the mag with my bike showing off is a one off ;-) Will upload some of the higher quality photos to the gallery tomorrow now that the mag is out Ps, if you look closely on my screen, top right I still have my 1000rr.co.uk sticker!!
post up a few of the pics.. was really lucky with the weather as it was overcast for most of the morning till the bike reached the skate park.. Decided to take the tail tidy off while I was spending 4hrs cleaning it the day before lol.. just looks cleaner without a number plate
It's attached to the battery tray, cost me a fortune as only sold in states but while my bike was at arthurs he made a cheeky copy which I noticed was still hung on his wall last week so he may sell it to you if you wanted one
