From everything i've seen so far of the HT influx to NLR; it appears that NLR are doing things right.

    1. keeping sprint races as they.
    2. modifying the endurance to allow national teams to race whilst not affecting the current classes and their championships.

I had my shoulder op at the weekend so won't be racing until Cadwell at the earliest but it's more likely that i'll only be able to race the last two rounds at Anglesey & Donny. Seeing as we're no longer fighting for a championships, i'm not going to rush back and risk harming my recovery.

I'm looking forward to getting on the NLR grid and doing a few track days to get up to speed later in the year.

It's highly likely that Team Army Endurance Racing teams will do the full 2016 season with NLR but nothing is confirmed yet. In the mean time; the Army guys with national licences are planning on racing at the 6hr at Spa in early August.

Although they're often naked; Jase, Jimbo and Dave don't count as girls.

Just hoping I can carry on running the metzlers in the endurance & newcomers 600s. The slicks were mega at Snet.

I'm not sure NL want the title of ACU National Championship next year for Endurance. Pretty sure they are very happy with the way things were before HT folded.

You have to use Pirelli or Metzler

Diablo Superbike Slicks or Ractec RR's then, either way it's a win win!

    Nah! must be U matey!

Ran em in 2013 and early 2014 before swapping to Superbike Slicks and they never put a foot wrong.
Was back on them tother week at Oulton and use them at Darley Moor where slicks are banned full stop.

Cracking tyre and they're exactly the same tyre as the Pirelli Supecorsa which is another TD and racers staple tyre choice.

Reckon U need Rail Tracks me self? :D

I really like the Racetec slicks. They aren't Dunlops but still a cracking tyre IMO.

Used Michelin power cups last year and early this year. Loads of grip UNTILL it goes with absolutely no warning and will tear like mad if the temp isn't spot on.

Used metzler race tech and then slicks this year and found them absolutely mega. Loads of feel and loads of grip with long life. Not had a big moment on them yet. All the team army guys love them.

Personally I feel like when the temps are right you can push a dunlop front forever I was braking that hard in spain it was making me chuckle but that could have been down to 20C and a grippy track. The pirelli superbikes slide a lot but they seem really steady and controllable aslong as you are picking the bike up when they go its quite fun. Dont know if id use treads again now tbh. Had a go on wedgies on d212s at snet and although still mega grippy they moved around a lot more than the slicks but guess that could have been different bike setup too
