Selling my Annitori HM strain gauge quick shifter. Purchased from the US for my old Gixer which then developed a fault. It was replaced by Leigh Baxter with HM in the UK for a brand new unit inc a new strain gauge sensor. This unit has 3 settings for sensitivity but no kill times to adjust. Unused since replaced, complete with a new 155 mm shift rod in black which should fit the CBR with no modifications. Also have used shift rods to fit the Gixer. This will work for push or pull shift pattern. £250 inc delivery.
Now reduced. £220 plus post. This is the strain gauge based unit made by HM. If you've not used one before these are exceptional. This cost me £311 including import duties, postage, and shift rod.
MO, if you want to try it I'll send it out and if you don't like it send it back dude. You will be impressed tho. I'm gonna get a Bazzil so I can map all 8 injectors and have the QS. No rush tho. I didn't want to fit this because once it's on I won't take it off
Guessing you are gonna get a Bazzaz (either that or a clean shave downstairs!) Considered getting one too, but heavily invested in DJ stuff. Like the idea of an all in one box rather than the module approach of DJ. Let us know how you get on with bazzaz and how it compares.
I have always used DJ stuff up until I got a Bazzaz on my 07 Blade race bike about 6 years ago. DJ stuff is great but I really like the Bazzaz. The fueling is broadly the same as DJ. Slight difference in the fuel map. Dynojet fuels every 250 revs whereas Bazzaz every 500. The Bazzaz on the other hand uses 2,5,10,20,30,40,50,60,70,80,90 and 100% throttle and DJ uses 2,5,10,20,40,60,80 and 100%. Also Bazzaz fuels all 8 injectors and its autotune facility is significantly easier and better than DJ. The shifter for me is the best I have used. Very easy setup and very reliable. TC if you use it does take a certain amount of setting up but the new TC active light makes it a lot easier. Beware that only Bazzaz TC systems made after 2010 can use the TC active light. To see simply plug in your Bazzaz to the PC and if the Bazzaz ECU is powered up by the USB then it can use the TC active light. That aside DJ has a number of things you can plug in that bazzaz hasnt. Example - Ignition module and the LCD screens for limited data logging. Both Bazzaz and DJ make great products. In the end I use Bazzaz because it offers better value for money, performs as well as DJ in all areas and better in some. I am selling a brand new Bazzaz TC Fi QS system with the new universal strain sensor (push or pull) for the 08-15 Blade. It was bought for a race bike that never got off the ground.
Sorry for a thread high jack but be warned about Bazzaz customer service. My unit developed a loose connection on the dyno. When they finally replied, it could not be repaired, I then asked about a replacement, that email was forgotten about or ignored (granted out of warranty). Next my QS started playing up. It will work for the first few sessions of a trackday then fails. I had to badger them constantly for help. The answer came through which I tried with no joy. I had to ask twice about a replacement and finally was sent a reply giving me a serial number that can't be found on the really bad website and at a price of £180 for a replacment shifter. I had to complain on their facebook page before they took any notice. I have sent a sh*to gram the the sales department in the US and am waiting for a reply. I will let you know what happens if interested.
Well dont hijack threads then. I have had nothing but great service from Bazzaz. Maybe your atitude was part of the problem
I'm glad they came through for you. If you could give an example of what happened and how it was rectified then the members of the website can read both and make up their own minds. I can only pass on what happened to me. As for attitude, it started out just fine, waiting for over a week for a reply, having to resend the question and then begging to spend money on a replacement part might just upset the most level headed of us. I will leave this thread well alone. Cheers.
Lads, this started off as my sale thread for an Annitori QS, which then turned into someone else's sale thread for a Bazzaz, then into a slanging match. Please confine your replies and opinions to anything relating to my sale only. If you wish to start another sale thread or a whinge at Bazzaz then please do so in the open forums, not in here. If anyone is selling their bits, I'm sure a PM would be more suitable than posting their ad in someone else's thread. BTW I'm not in the market for a full Bazzaz as I don't want TC. MODS, I would be happy if this thread was tidied up if required.
