Stock forks off an 05 blade. These fit 04-07. Were serviced recently with proof of work. 200 quid gets them.
Quick question. Is it just the forks you are planning on selling or are you breaking the front end including the triple tree?
I had reduced the add just to forks because I thought it had a lot going on. However I do have the triples here, a set of Calipers and 2 sets of discs as well
Well I’m interested in the Tripple tree for sure, will the triple tree come with the top and bottom bearings? Not sure about the forks as I still need to measure up mine. Will you post items? I’m in Scotland around the Edinburgh area. What kind of condition are the disks in? Cheers
Well I had an off at the weekend and damaged my triple tree so I need to replace the unit. I don’t think my forks are damaged but they only need to be a fraction out so I need to get them measured up first before I buy new forks. I have a 2004 cbr1000rr.
Sorry to hear about the off. Hope are ok. If it's an 05 they will marry up straight away as they are exactly the same. If you had an off that was enough to damage the triples I would definitely go through them with a fine tooth comb. Discs are in great nic. Genuine Honda units which are better than a lot of aftermarket stuff out there. Let me know what you decide. I'll have to look into the bearing situation and get back to you as I might need them.
Cheers, I’m all good thanks just stiff. Had all my gear on which helped and I got off lucky. Yep will be going over them finely tonight. If I struggle to do them myself I will send them away or take them to the local bike garage to see what they say. I definitely need the triple tree so if you could get back to me about the bearing situation that would be good. Also, cost of the item and postage would be good to know. Couldn’t hurt to know the cost of the disks as well if I will be looking to get the triple tree shipped over anyway. Just to clarify, is there any damage to bike that the items have been taken off / any damage to the items? Cheers
I won't know postage until it's all packaged up and weighed at the post office but I can post for you no problem. Last discs I sold here went for 90 so to help you get back on 2 wheels I'll do the discs for 70 quid and both the triples (top and bottom) for only 60. Can only confirm bearings next week. Yes just to be clear bike wasn't crashed. Just being upgraded. You can find recent pics of it here on the forum.
Cheers for that, both prices sound good to me. This might be a stupid question but the triple tree will come with all the fixings etc needed to secure the top back on and the shaft that connects them both? Could you hold this until tomorrow as I will measure my fork tolerances tonight to see if they are ok or not. If they are bent I will take the forks as well if that is ok? Danny

Measured up the forks and it turns out they are ok which is good news. Is everything still ok for me to take the Tripple tree and the disks? Another question about the triple tree, does it come with the connecting bar between the bottom and top? Not sure if that is a stupid question as it looks like the bar is connected to the bottom yolk but thought I would ask. Also, does it come with the nuts to secure the top yolk onto the triple tree? How would you like payment for the items? Can this be done over paypal?
