In case it helps any body, I use the Drift HD ghost (prior version to the s) and I reckon they are fantastic cameras.
And real easy to mount on the bike or what have you.
Still paying for mine on credit lol

Likewise above. I have the Drift HD Ghost and they are fantastic bits of kit. Far better than the Go Pro alternative. They are pretty robust and there is an App for the camera, so you can dial in the camera angle through your phone live and then your good to go.

What's the difference between this and the Drift Ghost S on eBay for £170?

For a start the camera is all intergrated, where as the Go Pro requires extra bits purchased to make it the camera you want. I'm referring to the Hero 3 as the 4 is alot more expensive.

The Ghost has a remote control, which you can velcro to a place of choice or wear on your wrist.

I have mine velcro'd to my left air intake cover by the bars, so its only a finger press away.

This allows you to start/stop recording instantly, and whilst its recording, if you wish you can take photos at the same time, using the remote.

For example, when tipping into a bend or similar, you can press a button once and capture that moment, whilst its still recording in real time.

Plus, the lens is completely adjustable, it rotates and allows the camera to be mounted in odd positions but still capturing upright film & pictures.

It isn't at all bulky unlike the Go Pro which is a awkward Square shape.

I used mine in France last year, and the video's and pictures I got were amazing.

See if you can get to a bike shop that sells them or go onto Drifts webpage and watch a demo of the camera.

Ok seeing as they are a lot cheaper on eBay I will sell it for £240 with all the accessories. The accessories have only been used once practically brand new.
The accessories cost me £80 only 2 weeks ago.

I don't like cluttering someone else's thread BUT--
I have both the 3 black and the new £99 entry level GP's. I have the remote for mine which does the same and it can be mounted in tge same way, I have the backpack screen ( came with the 3black as an offer), so it can be run with a screen, you can use a smartphone app to check the set up if not using a screen, you can Invert the GP and switch the footage to correct it to take advantage of different setup positions, if you have more than 1 you can reuse the other mounts on the second one.
Does the Drift record in 4K and have a removable battery. Never looked at one so I don't know.
The only difference in my eyes with your comments is the price which doesn't concern me. And as to being bulky and awkward that's bollix too. It's only personal preference at the end of the day and I like the Gopro having owned mine for about 3 years and it's survived a high speed spill with only a new housing.
You pays your money and takes your choice!!!!
    Enjoy.

Its a lot easier to use the drift in a sexual way as its shaped better and its waterproof without extra housing!
    Just saying!!

    ps: allegedly!

Fair point you make above. Having dabbled with a Hero 3 and then comparing with the Drift, my personal preference is the Drift. But people like the GP so hey whatever.
The Drift does have a removable battery yes, but I'll admit that I haven't researched the GP4 so don't know.

All I am saying in MY post, is that the GP is bulky and square. True or False compared to the Drift?

And, I haven't bad mouthed the GP have I?
Only given my personal opinion on the differences in the 2.

But, Hey, You's pay your money and takes your choice!
