Suspension settings for BPF blade 2012 on

as requested by @Dreamblademyth , here you go this was set for me 14stone plus riding gear 1.5 stone . Total 15.5 stone all in. Hope it's of help as can't find original one I posted on here ages ago

Cheers, What is classed as fully in? is that Minimum setting or Maximum setting?

 

Fully in is fully clockwise or fully seated.

 

Lovely, Cheers. Will do mine tonight as i'm out on sunday for a massive ride round some of Essex's nicest roads and the qouted weight is pretty much spot on for me (give or take a few pounds)

 

So what preload setting is shock on now? 5 or 6 I suspect?

 

If its no change it will be 4 won't it???

 

It doesn't say no change

 

There is no change to the compression damping which remains standard at, 2.75 turns out from fully seated.

 

I asked for the preload ... Not compression or rebound ... The preload HAS changed.

 

Think to get the rear sag correct the rear shock had to be knocked up by 3 , did good for keeping the back end bottoming out on the rear hugger as less clearance being an abs model n all

 

So setting 7... Wow!

 

I am 13.5 stone without riding gear. With a 2 piece RST Pro Series suit, TCX boots and Arai Quantum, the following sag was dialled in:

Rear 32mm sag = turn 5/10 on rear shock.
Front 36mm sag = 16 clicks from fully soft - anticlockwise - 4 complete turns.
