Looking for advise re suspension adjustment for geometry change Since upping my rear to 200/55 and therefore raising the rear height, I am now seeing what look like geometry tearing on the front tyre on track, so is it best to lower the rear shock ride height by 5mm with the length adjuster nut or adjust that with just the preload adjuster?
Ok it looks like I have about 2mm more adjustment on the rear length, does anyone know what ratio the rear ride height to shock length is on the blade? 2mm =6mm ride height? 3:1 how does that sound? Here are the tyre's btw front rear
What no replies? anyway had a word with Dave Moss and he says "Simon - that's caused by braking and the carcass completely deforming from the melting rubber on the outside edge. Too soft a compound, too low pressure and/or preload/compression too soft" so will have a fiddle and see how next track day goes
