Does it actually look any different or just a facelift and also some new tech thrown at it?

Spose, (using Honda Philosophy) there is no need for a 'Ground up Bike' being as the 2011 Gen 4 is still at the front of WSB & BSB Championships despite Yamaha's, Aprilia's and BMW's best efforts?

Always found the current zx10 a bit cereal box looking for my liking, too much going on and the rear end is sh****t!

However no doubting it's a fantastic piece of kit.

Agree on the Rear Shock and the Dash.

Kwaks reasoning is that anyone that races one will bin the OEM shock and waz an Ohlins/K-Tech/Bi-Tubo on front n Rear so no need to waste money on a decent OEM.

LED Rev Counter is GASH, LCD Dash like the Panni and R1 would be great.

When Performance Bikes stuck an Ohlins rear shock and some decent rubber on their long termer ZX10R it shot from 6th fastest to the front of the Lap Times for all the tested bikes round Mallory last year which included the Panni, HP4 and the S1000RR

I have the same shock Johnny Mc had on his long termer and can confirm its awesome. Bike handles like it's on rails and pulls like a rocket ship. On a recent trip to Germany using the autobhans my mate on his gsxr1000k8 disappeared in my mirrors once above 155 mph in top gear roll ons. He was genuinely blown away by the zx10r performance.
