    I'm not to impressed with the quality of mine, there's a chip in one corner,holes and gaps in it graxes around the edge. Also there's whitedots or powder trapped in it.
    any way we can sort this?

    FFS it's carbon, flat it and throw some lacquer on it from a rattle can. It'll take an hour!

    Got to admit given the explanation Chris gave in this thread explaining why these heel plates may have some minor imperfections I'm surprised people are moaning ...

    If you are not happy then return them to Chris and I will sort refund out.

    Mine isnt perfect but im well happy with it. It wont be noticeable once fitted and I prefer it as its bespoke looking rather than mass produced. How is everyone fitting them?? Im not sure what to use

    Mine isn't perfect either, but I'm happy. I was clear what we were signing up for, small test run, hand made.

    Most importantly for me the shape/fit is perfect so all good.

    I was thinking some 3m double sided tape, but open to suggestions.

    Yes, I was thinking the same with the 3M tape, I have some old Gopro adhesive squares somewhere I think

    Get some number plate doubles sided foam tape. About £3 in your local motor factors or Halfrauds.

    Glad you are all happy... apart from Moon that is as he is never bloody happy!!! :D

    As discussed previously in the thread these are bespoke parts not mass produced so there WILL be some minor imperfections.

    They were all sent first class, if you haven't received them would expect them today / tomorrow.

    Not perfect but well happy with it.
    For the price it was it is better than I was hoping for and a perfect fit.

    Woo hoo, got mine too now. Same as everyone else, not a perfect product but pretty much as I expected, more than happy with it and will look nice where its going and save the swingarm in the process. Not sure if other peoples have some some holes around the lower edge or if its just mine, I was going to rub it down and liquor it anyway, but that wont fill holes, so to speak :)

    A MASSIVE thanks to MrOCD for sorting it all out and having to put up with Moon, lol ;)

    Mine has the small holes in but I think it's the powder left by the polish which makes it look worse. All I've done with mine is polished it with T Cut black. The black in it hides the holes. Mine looks mint now. Fits absolutely perfect on the swing arm and matches my Akrapovic [emoji106].

    Great idea.

    I agree the white is simply the finishing polish... I will be doing the same before fitting mine. :)
