I'll be there from Friday 16 October at around lunch time and will be staying in the 'noisy campsite' until Sunday. Anyone else down there? Look for the silver VW Transporter T5 parked with a sky blue T4 and loads of other noisy bastards then bring some ale and have a drink with us.
I may take my daughter on the Sunday, never been before and it is not too far from us. Just seen on the timetable that there will be an H2R demo, I've wanted to see one for ages.
The spitfire display tomorrow will be better than the H2R, they never ride it properly when they send it around anyway. Its a bit boring to be honest
I didn't get to see either The H2R was delayed or cancelled due to the red flag incidents, and I'm not sure what happened to the Spitfires? Had an enjoyable time though, my daughter also enjoyed it, which I was pleased about, as I dragged her along under slight duress. I at least got to see the H2 and H2R in the flesh for the first time, interesting bikes. It was my first experience of BSB, and I'll definitely go again.
The spitfire flew by about 3 bloody miles away and if they hadn't have announced it on the tannoy then I wouldn't have been able to tell what type of plane it was as it was so far away. It was around the time of the Stock1000 race. The H2R was on track with the T3 moto 2 type bike that they're developing, it was either just before or just after the supersport race as I was in the back of the pits at the time.
You probably missed Brookes winning the Championship on the Saturday and then getting on it in the Kentagon Bar until well after midnight. My big ugly galoot of a mate getting a selfie with him.
