MotoGP Valencia 2015, starting grid Jorge Lorenzo Marc Marquez Dani Pedrosa Aleix Espargaro Cal Crutchlow Bradley Smith Andrea Iannone Pol Esparago Andrea Dovizioso Danilo Petrucci Maverick Vinales Michele Pirro Stefan Bradl Hector Barbera Loris Baz Nicky Hayden Yonny Hernandez Alvaro Bautista Scott Reading Jack Miller Mike di Meglio Anthony West Broc Parkes Valentino Rossi Marquez has been quickest in the race day warm up session. I sincerely hope that Valentino can make up a lot of places from the start, But even so it looks as though Marquez and Lorenzo will have clear tack, under perfect weather conditions, to just pull away. If Lorenzo does win the title here, it will forever be remembered that it was only possible because Valentino Rossi was forced to start at the back of the grid, and that Marc Marquez had a hand in that. If Valentino does win this it will be sensational ! Come on Rossi !!
"If Lorenzo does win the title here, it will forever be remembered that it was only possible because Valentino Rossi was forced to start at the back of the grid, and that Marc Marquez had a hand in that." If VR does not win the championshp he only has himself to blame IMO. I personally believe he should have been black flagged and got no points from the last race. That way he could have started the final round on the grid wherever he finished in qualifying. I have always been a VR fan but IMO he had to pay the price for the move he made on MM, if he felt MM was deliberately holding him up he should have carried on racing and lodged a complaint after the race.

:edited: Sorry to remove the results, but we have to consider those who are working, not seen the race just yet Ta.
I would be suprised if someone clicked on a link that talked about the last race of the season and then went mad when they saw the result
As a big Rossi fan I think he did amazing. A hell of a race to finish 4th A great champ Danny Kent I've never liked Pedrosa but the last few races he has done well and i've warmed to him a lot Well done to Jorge. In the end he road well and deserved the championship
I would agree with Remal....fantastic job by Rossi. He couldnt do anything else but the speculations are still there!! Stronger and better for next year and still competitive
Perhaps the rules for MotoGP just got even more strange. What with the different rules for different bikes that are on the the same starting grid, perhaps now the rule that you can have any champion you like so long as he is Spanish.
My two penneth-worth. I've always been a massive Valentino fan and I guess that's unlikely to change deep-down but I think that Jorge deserved his title. I still don't like the guy but I think he earned it. He's really showed his class on the bike this season. He's also shown what an a*sehole he can be, yet again. Next season though. I'm trading my VR46 mug for one of these.
Let me say that first that I am an out and out Valentino fan, over the years MOTOGP would not have been the same without him, he is a character and in virtually all of his post race interviews he is smiling and joking (unlike some other robots). Valentino has always had spats with other riders, Gibernau, Biaggi, Stoner and now Marquese, he has in the past played the mind games to perfection, however, I think this time it has run away with him and he needs to let go, get ready for 2016 and show again what a great champion he can be. For what it is worth I was suprised that Marques did not attack Lorenzo, it was interesting that when Danny came past he hit right back but did not then go after Jorge. Like some others on this thread I have a new found respect for Danny Pedrosa who rode superbly in the last few races. Looking forward to 2016.
Rossi did well to get to fourth but in all honesty was not on the same pace as the top three. Lorenzo rode an awesome race, to lead from the front with so much at stake and ride at such a consistent pace takes great skill and determination. Having won 7 of the MotoGP races he is a worthy champion IMO. I was disappointed with VR regarding the MM incident and I am even more disappointed about his post race comments after Valencia. I realise this was probably his last realistic chance of another GP title but his paranoia about MM is getting tiresome. As great a rider as he has been, there are other riders who are are winning races and getting podiums on a regular basis and have been for several years now and he should just accept it is all part of the aging process.

Watching the Sepang race yesterday and reviewing the vids out there Marquez was taking the piss and whilst Rossi needn't have pushed him off the line, Marquez tried to get back on the line by leaning on Rossi who then pushed him off with his knee. IMO this was a racing incident not some plot to take him out of the equation. It was just unfortunate but the way the both of them were battling it was only gonna go one way with one of the pair going down.
