I've decided this was an impulse by and that I don't really need it. I bought this at the end of November 2015 and it has not been used, I assembled it in the garage but I couldn't get it to line up properly. I purchased it from demon tweeks for £139, I would like to recoup most of my money. Located in Bristol.
Might be interested when you say it doesn't line up do you mean its defective also if your selling you need to say how much you want
They can be a bit of a PITA to line up. It took me hours to get it right on my Gixer. Don't give up, their a great bit of kit. You'll probably be following the instructions which says things like "bolt the plate on the centre bolt hole" etc....and finding it interferes with the gear change lever. It's just a case of experimenting. I can post you a few photos of how my plate is bolted on if it would help?
When I lift the bike only the rear wheel comes off the ground so it just needs adjusting. Mine never came with instructions so I had to guess
Persevere. They are brilliant bits of kit. When you're setting it up, the handle needs to be pointing to the sky. Get everything lined up and pull the lever down. Before you know the whole bikes off the ground and ready to be worked on. I have 2, they're great.
Echo Bash. I also have 2, one each for the road & track bikes. Just set the spindle and away you go. Sold most of my paddock stands since owning Warrior stands, they're really good.
You'll need to mess about with the little threaded bit to get the rear wheel off the floor. I'm sure one of the lads with a blade will post a frontal photo showing where they have the bolts. P.S sorry for hijacking your thread and not really helping you sell it.
No worries , I don't need to sell it. Maybe once it's set up properly and I clear the garage out I'll prefer it to my paddock stand
Here are how I adjusted mine. RR5 http://i1354.photobucket.com/albums/q687/muffking69/Misc/P1020180_zpsm5jfeebi.jpg RR6 http://i1354.photobucket.com/albums/q687/muffking69/Misc/Bracket-track-bike_zps6hgy5eqa.jpg
