Woolich ecu flashing

    Any feed back on the woolich ecu flashing yet? I've always gone with a power commander before but would like to give this a try. Cheers all.

    We have it on the Gixxer track bike.

    So good I've removed my PCV from the Blade and will have it done on both the road and track bikes.

    Colin ....what's the score with flashing? Did you take the bike to them for dyno time, or can they reflash with the ECU in house ??

    They can flash it in house, they can also do it on a dyno, or you can get a kit that lets you do it from you laptop.

    We went with the 1 you can do from the laptop, that way you can decide what you want to do with the bike.

    For example you can get rid of the error code when removing the exhaust servo, O2 eliminator, and other things you'd do for a track bike.

    You can also then take it to the dyno and have it personally tuned for your bike. I'll be doing this with the track bike.

    I'll also be getting the auto tune kit for the bikes. I'll run this on the road bike with a generic map and then let the auto tune get it perfect.

    Also with the logbox I can tune both my bikes with the same kit. Rather than have say a PCV for each bike.

    Best thing to do is speak to Rich at @RB Engineering on here and he will give you your options to choose from. Really nice guy and properly knows his stuff.

    Sounds perfect .....almost too good! So this could be the end of the humble PC then? Will speak to Rich once I'm up and running! If I'm totally honest I'm not that keen on the PC way as I've had issues and dramas with various bikes! Perhaps just unlucky but it's enough for me to pursue another route... Cheers Collin ...

    As said mate I sold my PCV in prep for this.

    We've had it on the Gixxer track bike for a year now. Great bit of kit.

    Recently went with Woolich on my 2010 GSXR 1000. John @ Track Electronics tuned it for me. Managed to squeeze 181hp out of it. I removed the PCV and HM QS that were fitted and sold those so I could have Woolich Race Tools. So I now have their QS, pitlane limiter and launch control fitted. I know John loves the Woolich system. Offers tuners so many more options than a PCV. Also it's one less thing to go wrong.

    Have it on both my ZX10R's ACE bito kit imho.

    Pit Lane Limiter is great for cackling through Country Villages in 1st gear set at 30mph! :D

    How easy is it to change the pit lane limiter speed? Can it be done on the move

    Do you mean engage it? If so then just be in first gear, be below 6.4k rpm (on mine) and push and hold the button. As soon as you release the button it all kicks in again. Saying that I've only tested it on the paddock stand lol.

    If you mean change the speed it allows on the move then you can't. You'd need the box to be able to connect it to a PC and change it in the software.

    Just a quick update guys we now have mapshares on the www.woolichracing.co.uk site, they are derived from the HRC ECU base maps.
    We also have our Race Tools coming for the CBR soon.
    I will post up some shots of the mapshare ignition and injector balance maps (in the ECU Flashing Thread), as these are where Honda restricts the stock ECU quite heavily.

    you just need to be carefull your not holding it on full throttle,as when you release the start button (or whatever button you use) it'll will take off fairly sharply.....

    Hi mate, I can only say soon at this stage because we are flat out on the 2016 ZX10R system at the moment, we do have the hardware done so it won't be too long once the Kawasaki is finished.
    I will release info as soon as I have it.

    Yeah, make them Blade owners wait Rich, the new ZX10R is far more important, mines due in 6 weeks so make it snappy! :D
