Well IMO they've made a monumental fuck up with this cash booking thing!! Been working shifts so I've missed it and hence the cup series is fully booked for some rounds and very close to that for the remainders.

Personally I think they should have done it money upfront or atleast only made rounds available a month or so before but hey ho. There will probably be some drop outs but you can't cart all your shit to a meeting with just the hope of a race.

I am gutted because there is loads racing in the cup that I wanted to be on the grid with... many on this forum. For me it has put a right downer on the season already and I'm half tempeted to just go with a different club. Gonna explore the possibility of doing pirelli super series for the year but I will just be at the back which is no fun.

Who has managed to get on?

It's crazy ain't it.... Can't help but think many will pull out through crashes, money, life ect ect and folk will fade away, but the regulars last year will have got the hump and made other plans and the grids will decline....

That said, they have fairly big reserve lists and no doubt folk will want to race.....

Sad thing though is people who are in for championships etc might be missing rounds because they wasn't quick enough to book.

I'm pleased No limits are doing well and seems popular.... But gutted for those who've missed out. As it's the crack and your mates in the paddock that make it :(

Team army are prob running about 20 teams this year ;) lol

We managed to get all endurances booked and I'm done for solos half way. Will book the rest in a minute.

As for the cash thing, totally agree, should have to give a bit more commitment to book imho....

I was in Spain at the time they released the booking on system and still managed to book all my rounds for endurance (we only have 5 Army Teams ;) ).

I don't think it would have made any difference how NLR did their booking system; it would still resulted in some people missing out on some rounds due to demand. At least this way teams have managed to enter for the season and won't find themselves unable to book on for a round at the end of the season when they're fighting for a championship (i'd be proper pissed if I got to the last two rounds but couldn't get a slot if i'm fighting for top 3 in the championship)

It's unfortunate for those who've missed out but if it wasn't them then it would be someone else and they would be upset and would be complaining.

Everyone knew the grids would be rammed full this season which is why people booked all their rounds ASAP.

At the end of the day; we all got the same chance to register for the rounds we want to enter and it was well advertised through their website and social media.

Sorry mate, but I think you've dropped the ball in not booking up your rounds not NLR.

Prob is IG NLR think the whole world revolves around face book..... Many of which ain't on it....

Get the first come first served aspect but how many are booking on without financial commitment then will drift away....

Funny how many hottrax folk used to slate NLR but now fully booked in for a season ;)

We nearly left HT before the start of 2015 season. The thing that kept ourselves (as Army team, not me as I was rookie) in HT was the 'national status' as the team as a whole are developing to get the fast riders doing bigger things, hence there's a jiggle around of riders in teams this year.

Over half the endurance grid is made up of teams paid for the season up front, myself amongst others can't afford to do that after what happened with HT last year.

Understand many aren't on FB and other social media but that's their choice. NLR put the info out in a way that reached the most amount of people as quickly as possible. They even rang around many teams that raced in 2015 and had made it known of their intentions to do the full 2016 season.

It's unfortunate for those that missed out but if it wasn't them then it would be someone else.

Face book is far too dangerous to get involved with just to see when no limits are racing. Bemsee will do and might be able to make a round by end of season with you boys. Don't want to join two makes it another 35£ on top of a already big cost

Think it'll be a different animal this year. Year the quick boys (and a few of them) will be rapido but will be a much bigger spread this year.

If I were you that's exactly what I'd be entering. Don't hurt being in the deep end.... Even if it is a slightly forced hand.

Get in cup at end of season when the grids are less full and spank us mid runners ;)

Not having test days at Donny is the track issue not NLR. 3 days straight for us noisy motorbikes causes issues with the council o_O.

There will likely be a 'track day' a few days before like the final round of 2015.

The bikes must really drown out the noise of the jumbos! Ha

But right, track not NL.....same for oulton.... Not testing there as would mean leaving Tuesday for racing fri / sat. Wtf!?!
