White nose cone fairing 2008 on

so after a run out on Sunday I found a 50p sized hole in my upper fairing above the headlights but below the mirror. It can be repaired by the local body shop but how good it will be I don't know so I'm after someone who is breaking a matching bike or if anyone knows the best place to find fairings for this bike.

Fairing is white with a black decal the goes around the screen.

The white has a metal flake in it which is why I'm not sure how well it will repair.

These are like the proverbial rocking horse Sh!t - good luck with finding one but think you will struggle I am afraid.

I'd already gathered that these were hard to find from looking around online. How good are the Chinese ones? There is one on eBay unpainted for £50ish.

I would but finding them seems to be the issue.

I'll see what it looks like fixed I think and if I'm not happy I'll have to buy one.

 

The china clone ebay ones are a different type of plastic - certainly not as thick / flexible as the original that's for sure.
I bought one, never fitted it and recently sold it.

How much is a genuine nose cone ?

 

Cheap for an OEM part, probably cheaper than a Chinese one in the 'right' colour.

 

Thanks guys but mine is at the bodyshop now, my mate has assured me he can fix it and i have ordered the paint so we'll see how it looks when i get it back.

 

Nah I have the side fairing and headlight but not got the nose I'm affraid
