I got a cheap set from china - they are ok but I feel like now I want something better. However I don't want/need the best or most expensive. So wondering what's recommended in the early to mid budget level - any suggestions?

Pazzo levers are made in China and etched in uk ! They pay £4.50 each for them
That said the guy who told me that sells asv levers so he's likely to slag them off !!!

Aye, it must be a progressive thing, I had asv levers and have moved onto Brembo, just purchased the clutch side today in fact, money wise wish a had stayed with the asv, but the brembo's are sexy as fook

ASV's are not cheap - anything middle of the road, £50 max?

Hard one as there's so many copies about.

What about Evotech? More than £50 but less than Pazzo's and ASV's. I may try a set on the Monster.

Don't bother, I got some asv's which look great, but don't have the same precise feel as the originals, so changed them back and sold the asv's.

I bought a cheep set from China on eBay as I needed a set quickly. They look the part but they don't fit too well and feel flimsy ..... Not the best but for 16 quid I guess they are ok. I think I will be spending a little more next time though and wouldn't buy another cheap set.

Very true, it was the brake mainly for me, lost its initial biting point and felt spongier with the asv's. The clutch was good and they do look good which was the main reason on putting them on my bike initially, and my hours debating long or short was therefore a bit of waste of time. But for many people they prefer them.
