Just been round a m8 house , he,s told virgin to sling their hook and has canceled his tv with them but then tells me about these Open box, s ...........why have I only just heard about them ?. Seems you buy the box for say £25 and then buy a warranty for £15 and you can watch all those channels that would otherwise cost you if you had sky or virgin. ..........and yes it does work. Any comments guys ?

Does this box offer more then you can get on the free view channels. We have a "smart TV" and that's got more channels than you can watch plus links to the internet if you want more paid films etc.
As I recall .........yes........All the free stuff plus sky sports ,BT SPORT 1&2 , sky movies etc etc , I went down the streaming route from my tablet to tv via chrome cast so I could watch Motogp ( for FREE ) which is great but seeing what he's doing I, m tempted . He still pays Virgin £30 a month for fast broadband ,but beats the £55 a month he was paying for the medium package which we all know is a total scam ........I have no problem paying the big boys a fair price but when they just hike the price up when ever they feel like it mid contract that just makes my blood boil. The way I see it The full package might cost something like £80 a month from sky , with this set up a one off payment of £45 and you can get the whole lot for 12-36 months ,ok you don't get all the recording stuff you would normally get with their super duper set up box but I personally don't often use it anyway.
That's the part I really should wean myself off as I have far too much stuff recorded on the Sky box that I need to get round to watching.
