new member looking for 09/10 hrc

Hi everyone i live in stoke-on-trent just sold my zx636 and on the look out for a 09/10 hrc blade if anyone knowsone for sale. I have only ever owned zxr's but have test rode a few bikes and the cbr1000rr have always stood out imo. I am quite specific in the bike i want next (or as the missus says a fussy t**t lol) So im looking for hrc less than 10k miles, seat cowel, nice can also.
If there is any issues i should look out for or links to read up on i would be gratefull.

Hi and welcome , I had a 636 great bike then a 848 and a hrc blade now from new for the last 2 years best bike I have had by a mile, read up various threads ref Abs as the year your looking for some do some don't have a issue, good luck with your search plenty out there

well after a 6 hour round trip i didnt buy the blade as there was signs of damage and it had been dropped at some point in its life (.
Waste of time and fuel but lucky escape, almost made an offer too.
Got one more to look at today so fingers crossed.

 

Why don't people describe things as they really are , that would piss me right off.

well just got back from looking at bikes and i have bought one yea )). got wait till next weekend tho, my first blade fhsh and mint condition(rim tape coming off lol)

Picked up my blade today im so happy with it, done a 100 miles today many more to come. No more changing gears to keep up with my mates and it stears sowell and so smooth.
Got one question the clutch lever feel like it is snagging and makes a cracking noise every now and again anyone got any ideas what it could be or would it just need a quick lube?
I will try get some picks up on the weekend when i clean it got more miles to go first lol

 

Clutch sounds normal.... Think it'll be the Slipper Clutch...
Sure you'll love your bike. Take your time getting used to it. You'll find 3rd gear makes it a bit like a 'twist and go'
