Hi all I am picking up my 1st fireblade next weekend. I have always had Italian bikes so not sure what to expect. I stereo any common issues to look out for.
I'll second that, mine went last week. I'm changing it as well as the reg/rec myself easy enough job. Don't let it put you off, the Blade is a fantastic bike, is it the one in your avatar? Same colour scheme as mine. Oh welcome to the forum.
Thanks, yeah it the one in the avatar. If the stator is only thing I need to worry about. I am on easy street compared to my other bikes.
Yeah stator only thing, my mate only "rides" Italian, I say "rides" because it's off the road more than on it!!! If it's got an aftermarket exhaust you may want to get a Power Commander, they can be a bit lumpy around town. Other than that enjoy.
Picked my bike up today. its awesome alot quicker than i was expecting. the only niggle is the throttle grip has come lose. other than that really impressed.
