Searching through old threads I'm convinced that an RCS19 MC would be a great investment for my RR6. There are a lot of new ones on e-bay at around the same price of just under £200 which seems to be a bargain given that they are around £300 elsewhere.

How confident can I be that I'm getting the real thing?

Or does anyone know where I can get genuine Brembo at a good discount?

    Thanks,

    Mark

Plenty of seller on Ebay mate offering good deals. Just look at how many they have sold and their feedback. For example:

You would need to buy the reservoir kit also don't forget.

Another option is to contact Mike at BDS Racing as he does some great deals on the Accossato master cylinder which is as good as Brembo but cheaper.

Think you may even get a discount if you mention the forum

Thanks for the very useful reply! I have put an offer in for a full kit with a 'reputable' e-bay seller. If that doesn't come off I'll take a closer look at the Accosato stuff. Looks pretty good to me!

If you're looking at the Italian eBay sellers then you've got nothing to worry about.

Know loads of people who have bought the master cylinders and calipers with no issues whatsoever and rapid shipping even from Italy.

Rest assured mate, you'll get the real deal :)

Annoying that the clutch rcs kit is more expensive when it's basically the same thing.. I,guess it's because they don't shift as many..

You might need a single banjo bolt in a Brembo 1mm pitch thread.

Can't remember if the standard supplied one is for a twin line race setup, depends how your lines are?

Ah, I think I may need to buy a double as I've just ordered some Venhill braided lines but in race setup and they won't fit the standard reservoir. I think I'm gonna try those and some sintered pads for now and see what improvement it makes.
