Anybody have a Scorpion RP-1GP on there Blade?

Looking for something road legal (for insurance purposes) and a bit louder than stock. Mainly to prevent people walking out in front of me that don't see or hear me on rural roads. Not too bothered about power gains although this one claims to give 2 hp more without fuelling mods.

I had one on a 2012 model and sounded really nice with baffle out, loud but not anti social. Baffle in still sounded good but more bearable for long trips. They changed the exhaust system on the 14's,prob similar sound tho.

I have it on my 2012, done only 70 miles since fitting it but am very happy with it as it looks good and it sounds good. It's just laud enough but not unbearably loud and it is road legal so no probs with MOT and insurance.

Hi I have an R1gp1 titanium on a 14 blade. It is different to earlier models so take care if looking at used. I find it too loud for long runs baffle out, but too quiet baffle in. Slightly enlarged holes in baffle. Perfect!!

Thanks for the comments, might look into getting one of these. Like the idea about enlarging the holes in the baffle to suiit.

The 08-12 version baffle has no holes (as far as I know) and tbh there's not much difference between the baffle in / out noise, at least not when the bike is stationary on the stand and the engine revved.

2014 version definitely has holes in baffle, drilled around half of mine out (next size drill)
Sounds good without waking all the street
    (only immediate neighbors)
