RichardPB - What do you have to say in response to the multiple criticisms of your products mentioned here?
From reading the above posts, there seems to be a theme of badly fitting products.
Quality is subjective, but a product either fits properly or doesn't.

    Hi Everyone,

I apologise for the issues members of this forum have had with their Powerbronze products.

We always try to help with product issues and as such if anyone with a problem had contacted us either via our website or by telephone (that way you'll get a faster response as the whole of our sales team will be involved), we would have done our utmost to ensure that issue was resolved to their satisfaction, whether that is a replacement product or a refund for the product in question.

Please let me know if I can help in anyway at all.

Have a good Bank Holiday weekend.

    All the best,
    Richard

I see PB have only just noticed their own dedicated thread has received a slating 1-2 years later?

    Says it all really! [IMG]

Must have been an exceptionally quite trading period to go trawling long forgotten advertising threads!

so... I'm thinking about buying a PB carbon hugger for my '13 ABS blade, but I'm going away on the 1st of july to Spain, i don't have time to play silly games, sending emails and products back and forth to get one to five properly, what assurances can you offer me that the hugger you send will fit?

anyone fitted one recently have anything to say about fitment on first attempt?

I fitted a powerbronze to my RR9. I would find it hard to complain because it was delivered on time, doesn't appear faulty and does actually fit, just not that well in my opinion.
It's unlikely that I'll use their products in the future.

I fitted a PB heat shield bought secondhand off this forum and quality and fit was excellent. I've now just ordered a chain guard from PB so I'm hoping for the same.

I had the chain guard, rear hugger and heel plates on my RR9 and they were of superb quality. Had to bend the mounting bracket for the hugger to fit correctly though but no big deal.

    Hello Bradley,

Powerbronze sell a large number of huggers for the CBR1000RR (both non-ABS and ABS models). We also supply these huggers as an accessory to Honda UK directly for use in one of their accessory packs along with our airflow screens.

The Powerbronze hugger was designed on a Blade which we had as a project bike and when the ABS model came along we made the necessary modifications to the hugger shell and tested it on a Blade at our local Honda dealer at that time.

If you have any queries or would like the fitting instructions for the product, please send me a private message with your e-mail address and I will send them to you in a PDF document.

    All the best,
    Richard

So do Honda get the stuff that fits, and we get what's left? ive just fitted one of your matt carbon ABS hugger a to my '13 blade.

It's twisted to the left, the mesh covered holes don't mirror each other, the hugger body looks too wide for the right hand fixing, the rear edges aren't set or cut strait, and the back of the hugger is touching my shock, which will eventually damage it.
The only good point is that the weave is perfectly strait.

Now usually I'd take it with a pinch of salt, mass production from China, shit happens, but how many people have had this problem? You should have fixed it by now...!?

I go away to Spain on Friday, if you can do anything, it needs to be fast.

    Dear Bradley,

Further to your post above and your e-mail with the photos to our sales e-mail address, we have reviewed your photos and agree that the hugger is twisted.

Powerbronze will provide you with a replacement hugger shell free of charge which we will send out today for you so that you receive it on Thursday.

Once your trip is complete we will then arrange for the return of the faulty hugger for review by our production manager. Your photos have also been sent to him as well.

    Kind Regards,
    Richard Padwick

So I received the replacement hugger body on Friday afternoon, so a huge thanks for that, but it looked the same when I fitted it, so it was the bracket that was at fault. I had to add roughly 5 - 10 degrees to the bend before the 2 holes on the left side of the bracket (fitted). I noticed the very end of the racket was pressing on the inside of the hugger when I tightened the bolts. Something I think needs addressing, the hugger bodies will be made from a negative, but the press tooling used to make the brackets needs tweaking.
Anyway... I'm in France with one of your hugger fitted, so far I've had 3 comments on it alone, you make good stuff, people like it, I just wish it fitted properly.

I'll be back in the uk 14th July, so we can arrange the return of the other hugger body.

    P.S.
I want an exhaust cover, front mudguard and heel plates, are there any known figment problems with these?

    Hiya
I am on my second exhaust cover. First one didn't fit at all. Second one I had to get out the dremel out to make it fit. Looks OK, but not a great fit.
