200 MM section rear tyre cornering

    maybe a stupid question, but hey ho, hear goes
    Have a 200mm rear tyre on my bike, and although I'm carrying more corner speed on corners , seem to have larger " chicken strips " on the tyre than I ever did on the blade. ( not that it matters I quickly add )
    Not worried about willy waving just ride for myself.
    Just curious is the wider tyre harder to wear to the edge.

    It's harder as the bike is taller and therefore requires less lean for the same speed compared to a 190/50 which is the correct size ...

    Think 55 is the right size for the BMW? But still the same principle
