    Welcome to the forum :)

I'm on an 04 blade and experienced the same thing at the start of the season. We removed the stator and had it rewound by a uk company called west country windings.

Hi and welcome, there's plenty of info here, about this. There are plenty of good vids on youtube, on how to test reg/rec and how to change them. Just for the record when I did mine A few months ago west county windings wanted about £125.00, so I decided to get a stator and rectifier from a German company on e-bay, and changed the lot. No problems so far, think I paid about £112.
