A big fat hello from huddersfield, and a belated happy new year to all of you. been surfing around for a decent, informative, well balanced forum and think i may have just struck gold. been off bikes for 7 loooong years now. My R6 got nicked just before my wedding, and being skint, i decided to succumb to spending the proceeds on the ball n chain, thinking i would have been able to save for another within 6 months, but, alas i got made redundant!! my previous bikes are: TS50er (we all have to start somewhere!!) RD 350 YPVS RD 350 LC (96) ZX 6R 748SP (2000) R6 I'm now the proud owner of a very sexy '05 repsol blade and am chomping at the bit for a bit of fair weather being away from biking has meant abstaining from buying the usual bike mags, as i didn't feel the need to rub salt into my own wounds, though i couldn't avoid moto GP and the awesome spectacle that is the TT. Have to say the coverage of the TT was pretty damn good for terrestrial telly. So, having only just started up again am at a total loss as to where we are tyre wise these days. Back then the BT battleaxe were as good as out for knee down malarky, even in the wet. I'll have a shufty round and will no doubt be posting some daft questions hope to be posting real soon. regards BLAGGERS
Welcome to the forum I love the Metzler interact k3 for road and trackday although the Dunlop sportsmarts are an excellent do everything tyre. We need pics of the bike, it's kind of a OCD thing with most of us on here Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Welcome to the forum mate, and welcome back to biking You'll be hard pushed to beat the Dunlop sportsmarts tyre wise, but I'm sure the other guys on here will be able to fill you in with more informative info.
Welcome mate , "decent, informative, well balanced forum" ????hehehehehehehehhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah!!!

Welcome Blaggers, don't knock the TS50ER I started on one of those and I have to say it was the best time of my life. I too have a RR5 now lol
Welcome mate - the more repsols the better I say! Lots of anoraks, techies and comedians/comediennes on this forum, so all your dreams will come true, I'm sure. Enjoy!
Yea, they were the days! Kept blowing mine up. Ended up with (if i remember correctly) 80cc big bore kit with stan stephens reed valves n spannies. Last blow up saw the gearbox off.
