Gilles VCR and HM shifter set up

    I'm scratching my head wondering if I'm missing something iv tried to fit my quick shifter hm + with my VCR rearsets but unable to do so.... have I got the correct parts.... see pics thanks for your help!

    Yes, looks like it to me, the shift rod bolts on the back side of the foot selector lever, the other end with the arm on it, depending on the shift pattern you want to which way you have the arm.

    Just seems like the shift rod is too long and too close to the frame....

    You need to get a shortened shift rod from HM as you can't use your original Gilles vcr shift rod, measure your shift rod then take away the length of the sensor and that's the length of rod you need to buy from HM

    Cheers buddy il take a look into that.... last shift tomorrow then off to Scarborough to Olivers Mount for the gold cup so il sort it Monday..... thanks

    Iv now got the correct length rod but it seem to close to the frame.... does anyone know we're I can buy the offset attachment as pic. Cheers

    Is it the rod itself that is too close or the HM?

    If its the HM try mounting it at the bottom of the rod instead of the top, mine is mounted this way and is spot on.

    No its the rod that's too close, set up as the pic.... the pic shows an offset selector clamp which is what I need, but unsure were to get from.

    Did you buy them brand new or second hand as the you have isn't the right one! Looking closer at your first photo again

    Should come with the rear sets mate, pic is my old bike. Ring Jamie at Calsport he will sort you out with Gilles spares :)
