Hi all names kev and from sunny Scotland, Glasgow.
Not long purchased myself a 2012 anniversary edition, had a big bang r1 before the blade but looking forward to see what the Honda can do! :)
You've got a good site here, very informative, hopefully meet a few of you over the summer months;)

Hi Kev, welcome to the forum. Enjoy your bike. Interested to see how they compare. I moved from a pre Big Bang to a blade. Really enjoyed my R1 but loved the move to a blade. On my 2nd now.

    Thanks for the welcome guys.
Yeah the crossplane was some machine, horrendous below 40mph but once you were above that it was superb!!;)
Hopefully not too long to wait RamJam for another tropical summer, pmsl!

I'm using my phone 99% of the time when I'm on the forum and it seems to have a delay when typing or just using the site in general.
This is happening on any page I visit, just wondering if this is common or if it's just me? is there maybe a setting somewhere I can change?
    Cheers

Glorious weekend we had there mate

Managed to get myself over to the new opening of Ducati & Triumph at Hillington. Great setup they've got. Its becoming a right little motorcycle village over there now with HD, Ride On, Totally Spanners, Dynotech Ecosse, and now Ducati and Triumph.

Sadly never managed more miles as I had my son that weekend for company :)

Excellent mate, I'll need to get myself over there & check it out!
Sounds like it'll be a good meeting point if you're heading up loch lomond way for a blast & as long as they have a good coffee machine;)
I'm still waiting for that salt to clear up a bit before I venture out!!

It's a while away yet Kev, but I'm doing my annual Scottish trip, (wife has relatives in Thurso) first week in Setember. Planned route to take A7 cross border and on up to night stop in Callander. Next day on to Ullapool another night stop the to Thurso via Durness so if you fancy escorting an Englishmen part of the way let me know.:D

I'm usually kicking about callander direction every other weekend, cracking roads from there all the way up to thurso.
