I had a daytona 600 for 3 years before the blade. I bought it without a test ride in Jan 2011, ran it in while there was ice and snow and grime and mud on the road. It's so confidence inspiring and smooth, and dare i say it, easier to ride than the 600, especially round town due to the torque. It felt slower as it's so smooth, until you look down and you`re doing warp factor 9 mr sulu. No stamping through the gearbox and hitting 15k revs everywhere as the low down power is fantastic as is the midrange. Handles like a 600 once you get the sussy sorted and is just a fantastic bike. Weight is not a problem as it's so compact, you'll love it!
Welcome to the forum mate - plenty of decent people to ask for advice when needed. Looking forward to pics of the bike!

Come on Ken don't exaggerate...........its only as you get close to the event horizon that things start to blur! Welcome to the forum chap......and watch out for that KPONE bloke!
Went out on Sunday for a wee spin, was cold but that didn`t bother me. Had the biggest, cheesey grin on my face.Should have bought one years ago. Just hope the weather stays dry so that I can get the thing run in before the proper weather comes in. I have heared that the engine will change once its run in - is that true or just a load of bollocks?
