Fantastic write up matey, and you were so lucky with the weather.
A brilliant mix of roads and destinations and to finish up with the Somme 100th anniversary was a great finale to the trip.
Thanks for posting so much information.

Funny, I am heading in the other direction - I currently have a Panasonic TZ70, and thinking of getting a Fuji !

But that TZ100 looks a bit beefier than my smaller sensor TZ70. I do like the little viewfinder on the Panasonic, steady the camera against your face and hands - really easy to use. But, like you say, a bigger sensor is nice !.

Which Fuji are you looking at ? Their bridge cameras are good but bulky and pretty sure the travel compact range has been dropped.

Need to look over my images again but strangely I don't think I have any real 'Outstanding' ones I'd want enlarged and framed up - could be wrong when I go over them.

Just mount them on white card from the picture framer people, or art shop. They can even do it for you for a few quid - much cheaper than the full glass and picture frame mounting - and that way you can change them after a while. Hang them with velcro !

I suppose most pictures are documenting the trip, but sometimes some special scenery is worth printing out - I find I am always looking out for something like that !

Planing to stay in over winter, and save the pennies for an X-Pro2 for next year !

You're right Al. It is sooooo time consuming. Especially trying to make it interesting viewing for others.

I find it interesting watching Teapotone's video editing skills on his round the world trip and how they improve.

Rack works fine - I have had no problems with it, but the main load goes over the rear seat.

People with problems have put too much weight on the rear rack section which I think is rated at 5kg but check renntec site
