I've always said I'll never do a track day so...

I'm booked in at Snetterton on July 9th!

I'm looking for some track day insurance for the bike, I've checked out Bemoto but their service is suspended while they're between underwriters. Anyone know of another company to use? All I get on Google is for personal injury or travel insurance but I want to feel relaxed about sliding the old CBR down the tarmac.

    Thanks,

    Mark

That's a road bike only day if I remember correctly. I might be there myself that day,
never had track day cover for the bike so will be interested to see any replies you get

Looks like they're suffering from the same problem as Bemoto. I think there's been a test case that means they all need to tighten up their disclaimer to prevent 3rd party claims. Or something.

Have you tried BeMoto again as I was only speaking with them yesterday, renewed road insurance, I discussed trackday insurance and he said they do it. No mention of suspended?
Have you considered hiring a bike i.e. smallboys track bike hire?

Take ya plate off. If the worst should happen... how they know you on track?

Because I'm pretty sure you won't get cover for the bike.... not with the premium being so high and you might as well hire one and not worry?

You pay ya money... take ye chances and all that

Well let's say hi then! I'll be the plump old guy in a second hand Arlen Ness suit and riding a black RR6.

    Possibly sporting a cold sweat.

Well... They could read this thread... Or be slightly suspicious about the amount of accidents near Snetterton!

    :)

Throw it out the back of a van near your way then. Just book the track day in someone else's name or put down a different make bike on the sheet
