I couldn't figure out whether he was very angry and was biting his tongue or whether he was upset and still shaken.

Bit of both i thought. Lost all confidence in the bike by the sounds of it.

Liked the bit about slowing the bike down with the kerb, just shows how fast these guys are thinking even when things go wrong, the presenters made it sound normal to hit a false neutral and it probably is but I don't think it was just a false neutral, if you are slowing it down using the kerb then you'd have a chance to kick the gearbox down again at least once.

The old guy with the curly hair seems to dislike Guy as he put him down every time he was mentioned, pretty much saying hes not experianced enough to help develop a new bike, then to pretty much categorically say the crash was rider error lol as if 1 year away from the TT means he definately forgot how to operate an up down lever.

I thought i could hear him kicking down the gears when the bike hits a neutral, theres a definate knocking noise. In his interview he said something along the lines of 'a box full of neutrals'.

Yeah Steve Parrish, I got that impression as well, whatever you think about Guy Martin he's a pretty experienced rider and yes a year out probably would put you off pace but he's also a very experienced mechanic and I'm sure he knows how a gear lever works :)
Certainly don't think he'd jump off at that speed for a laugh.

I spoke to Honda Racing at the TT, and tried to got some gossip, but they were not giving up much !

I was trying to get to the bottom of what electronics have been changed, and replaced with MoTec - namely is the BOSCH IMU still being used.

The answer was not yes/no, but something along the lines of not being compatible - so my interpretation is that they BOSCH IMU was or has been removed. Time to get your tin foil hats out again, wait for it - I TOLD YOU SO !!! :D

And that the new Fireblade was too dangerous to race at the TT - after spiting Guy Martin off early in the first lap of the Superbike race, Honda withdrew the bike from further racing - er, I TOLD YOU SO !! :D

Here is a pic of Guy Martin's bike before it was crashed on the Sunday.

    WSBK - Misano, Italy - 17/18 June 2017

    Race 1
    DNF Stefan Bradl

    Race 2
    10. Stefan Bradl +42.651 seconds

In Race 1, on the Saturday, Bradl retired on the second lap having qualified 18th on the grid. The retirement was due to "technical" issues. In this race we saw Van der Mark leading the race on his Yamaha R1, before his rear Pirelli tyre came off the rim and forced a sliding crash - in front of all the chasing riders.

Also in this race we saw Chaz Davies come off on the last lap, right in front of Jonathan Rea, who collided with him - actually ran over him and crashed himself. Rea was able to pick his bike up and continue to the line and finish in 3rd. Chaz Davies was lucky to only suffer some fairly minor injuries and is expected to race at the next round in the US.

In Race 2 Stefan finished the race in 10th place, which looks good. However, only 12 riders finished. Anyway, at least Stefan was able to finish and Honda would no doubt have collected useful data.

World Superbike are considering moving to a single spec ECU, and will announce their decision in the next weeks.

(What is the bets that it will go to a single ECU, provided by BOSCH !:D)

    BSB - Knockhill - 17/18 June 2017

    Race 1
    4. Jason O'Halloran +6.670
    DNF Dan Linfoot

    Race 2
    6. Dan Linfoot +5.052
    7. Jason O'Halloran +5.571

I have not actually watched the racing yet, but the results certainly look good - they probably even had good TV coverage ! things are looking up for the BSB bikes !

    BSB - Snetterton - 30 June-02 July 2017

    Race 1
    3. Jason O'Halloran +7.698 sec
    5. Dan Linfoof + 11.656 sec

Jason O'Halloran was interviewed by James Whitham, about his season and the Honda. O'Halloran was confident that the Honda suited the fast flowing circuit - he mentioned wheelie issues and aggressive power that did not present themselves at this circuit.

Jason O'Halloran qualified third on the grid with Dan Linfoot qualifying in eighth place. To be fair they ran in the front group for the whole race although they benefited from James Ellison's retirement on the Yamaha R1 - but that's racing.

Jason O'Halloran defended a late charge by Leon Haslam to take the third place PODIUM FINISH !

Shane Byrne was fast in qualifying and took the win by 3.295 seconds over Josh Brookes on the yamaha R1

    Race 2
    3. Jason O'Halloran +7.701
    7. Dan Linfooot +13.615

Jason O'Halloran started from 3rd on the grid with Dan Linfoot in 9th. Early laps saw a group of six riders break away from the rest, with the two Hondas at the back of the small group. Josh Brookes and Shane Byrne disappeared into the distance, taking it in turns to break the lap record - with Shane eventually passing Josh Brookes to take the win.

Jason O'Halloran took another thrird place and another PODIUM FINISH !
