    Hi,

Anyone fitted a quick action throttle to a 08 Blade with standard handlebars, road switchgear and Brembo RCS master cylinder?
My bike is mainly used as road bike with a few few mods for the occasional trackday.
    Appreciate any help.

    Cheers

You could save a few quid if you buy a 2006-2012 Yamaha R6 throttle tube. Got that on my 08 blade. Stock tube on the blade is 1/4. On the R6 it is 1/6. Fits straight up with stock throttle cables.

2013 bike with brembo rcs and using the hrc throttle tube.

Didnt need to buy the housing or new cables as originals were fine. £25 or so all sorted.

Thanks gents for the ideas / heads up. I'll see if I can get hold of the HRC tube.

2008 with full HRC quick action throttle and 19RCS. Picked up the QAT for not a lot.

I actually reverted to stock blade throttle. Found that the 1/6 was a bit to much for me. On track its nice, but on the road it a bit much.

I find it great, changed gearing on mine too and was expecting it to be a bit skitty but find it nice. Just have to be a bit more careful coming out of corners, had a few slides but all adds to the exitement.

Front will pop with a sniff of throttle.

I recommend the Robby moto QAT, comes with 4 different rings to change the speed without having to change the grip
