    Hi everyone,

Just need a lil help & advice please (and yes, this has probably been asked a thousand times, so my apologies), but each person has a different take on these things.

After a lot of decision making, I've decided to get myself an action cam or 2 (front and rear facing), to take to the TT classics next month.
I'm not paying gopro prices and not keen on the drift or the Sony ones.
What I have decided on is to go for the gopro type cameras, mainly because of a accessory mounts.

Does anyone have any experience with any of these?
I've had a bullet style one many years ago and got on really well with it, but it's a bit dated now.
    Also what about mounting positions?

These are to ones I've narrowed it down to.....
    Front

I have a drift ghost and a very cheap Chinese Gopro clone, neither of them are 4k but unless you have a 4k monitor you wont see the benefit. The Chinese clone cost me £15 and tbh the picture quality is the same (to my eyes anyway) its very similar to the ones in your links with all the extras. Ive not used it enough to compare the quality of the battery and charge rate before it fails but its holding up so far. The Chinese aren't known for quality batteries unless you buy a well known make. If you do go for a clone, try and get one with 2-4 batteries, that way if one does fail you have others to fall back on plus giving you more record time. The down side is its very jumpy if viewing the footage direct from the camera through the computer. I always download the file to the computer then view which works. Apart from that they're great for the money and all the mounts are good and universal, although I've not used the suction mount yet but it looks like it would do the job. Hope this helps ya

Am sure if you google them you'll find reviews on most of them! To be honest I bought a cheap lidl one the first time and then ended up buying a GoPro hero model as wanted better quality footage and software, the early session model is a good camera and has the bonus of the same software as the morse expensive models and can be operated through your mobile

Problem with some of the cheaper ones is the software and being able to check if you've lined up the camera right, least if you can check with your phone it saves a lot of wasted footage

I bought a Chinese one and it didn't work
Also my go pro keeps stopping recordings. Sometimes 18seconds sometimes 8 minutes etc. Not had much luck with them
    Fancy trying a drift hd

On my second Drift Stealth 2, lost the first (user error), never had a problem in 2 years with them. Gives around an hour and half continuous recording and with a home made microphone sock (bit of sponge) the sounds pretty good too.

I've run a GoPro Session 5. Hands down the best action camera I've used. Doesn't have all the features of the hero5 black but it's size and ease of use make it a better option I think. Because of its size and the frames it's housed in you can just about mount it anywhere and point it in any direction.

For the front I use a yoke mount, you can try a sucker on the tank but with the yoke its out the way of your chest :)

SJ make half decent cams for the money, but I've brought cheap Chinese ones in the past and much prefer to stick with go pro as they just work.
