I must admit, I don't think that they would be doing the Welsh Road Race, as it is days before the Ulster GP. It is a dilemma I am going through right now, which one to do........decisions, decisions....
As for McGuiness, I think this season may be a missed one for him. I very much doubt he has lost his ride with Honda, but whether he is up to the TT this year remains to be seen. There are various rumours that he will only be on the supersports bikes and not the superstock/superbike. Who knows, time will tell.

Any idea Robin what sort of prize money the Welsh are offering ? Maybe that and the cost of transport to Ulster will be a factor for some !

No I am not sure what prize fund is on offer. It would have to be hefty to compete with the Ulster though. Getting over to Ireland isn't too ridiculous really in the grand scheme of things. I get a competitor discount for the ferry and then the entry fees are much lower than the UK stuff. I hope that the event is well attended by both spectators and also riders, it is fantastic to see another road race given the green light.

After the non event of the circuit of Wales track fiasco I'm hoping this is a regular well attended event, and if successful could lead to more on the UK mainland.
