Does look nice, but I think there's a two-grand premium for the paint job.

It is really nice......maybe they'll let me take it as my courtesy bike when I drop mine off for its service in two weeks o_O

If not that then the RCV they've got in a perspex display box haha!

Love that rcv.......that'd be on my list if I won the lottery!
I like the Repsol paint scheme but don't like it when they put the numbers on them!

Am I the only one who thinks this is a mess?
There’s no flow to the scheme at all.
It just doesn’t suit the contours of the bike whatsoever mainly due to the cut away panels.
All in my opinion of course!

Totally agree. I have never liked paint jobs. I much prefer how the come straight from the factory. I am surprised Honda didn’t come up with a ‘Repsol’ option for 2018.

I love race reps but I’d be reluctant to have one due to them dating very quickly. Although that 2017 Repsol is very tempting.

Me too and while i would love a race rep.... I think all bikes date quickly as they're always bringing out new models, the beauty of the Repsol colour scheme though is that it's been around since the days of Alex Crivillé and Mick Doohan so it's effectively become a classic paint job!!

    Timeless if you like.....

Although some might not consider this a very 'exciting' colour scheme, I would love to see Honda replicate its original colours of the Hailwood era. Bit more subtle than the Repsols, but perhaps just as 'timeless' as Paulo has indicated above.

Marquez rep sold already according to the link now!!
Found another one at Hunts but with a black frame & black gb covers on those hideous gold covers...

That's what 'm talkin' about!! Yep, the black frame makes it, as do the covers. Still, it's a tad lairy for my pensioner neighbourhood.:)

It’s supposed to be a race rep though.
Don’t see too many factory Hondas with black frames.

I prefer the black I think it makes it look more stealthy :)
I could be tempted with that as a second hander in a couple of years. Get the 93 sprayed over & good to go :D

Just recovering from the machine gun wounds!!:eek:

It really is amazing how our 'likes and dislikes' are so different among fellow Blade lovers.

Personal preference, I know. We only have to reflect on the gold, white, or black wheel debates.

So, I guess I better not mess with my silver frame!!:D:D

I thought your OCD would have steered you in the direction a race rep being as near to accurate as possible Nigel haha!!

That Hailwood rep shouldn't be too hard to recreate should you change your plastics in the future to keep your originals mint. Red tail unit and tank, silver fairing and some decals and your livin' the dream! :D
