I know we have a few Carp fishermen on the forum but what other experts do we have here ?

I was thinking we could share hot spots , tips and news etc .

    So to start ..

Whats your quarry and lets see your big ones !! ha ha

I do a bit of fly fishing for sewin on my local river

Lots of stocky bashing on the ponds and reservoirs on the fly

But my main love is Sea Bass !!

I consider my self a CHAMPION after the Bass ! lol

A bumbag full of Rapala lures
    A light spinning rod
A rel full of 8lb braid
And of hoping around the rocks , coves and beaches

Love it , Love it , Love it !!!!

My record to date 10Lb 2Oz

I use to live and breath fishing, wether it was fresh sea or game, I was what you would call a long session angler. Wouldn't give it a second though sitting at the side of a lake in France for a week at a time. Sadly due to time and other commitments I no longer fish full time, do a bit when I'm on holiday now and again, I could soon spam this page with pics but I won't, yet ;)
Here's one from Africa last year. Sea was too rough to get out so did some trolling around Denton Bridge and caught a nice barracuda.

I love it Dan, but the bikes are priority now.
Can't wait for my next trip. Got three days booked with Pa and he now has a bigger boat so we can get out to the blue water and see what it's really about. I'd love to nail a yellow fin.

Simple answer. Shoot the fish! Lol

Started fishing myself after the R6 got nicked. Needed a new hobby. Love it but the blade's here now.

Had done course fishing, sea fishing when younger. Have no intrest any more. But sea fishing one boat was always good.

I have no feelings about wanting to fish any more but would rather sit doing nothing for 10 hours in freezing cold than watch football ;)

And guys ffs stop showing off with the epic pics

Was sat at the side of a lake trying to tempt the carp. Heard the bushes rustling on far bank and watched them swaying around as some yet unseen critter bimbled about. Minutes later there was a commotion and loads of splashing about. Then I watched as the mink swam across the lake with a @4lb common, and i'd been sat there all bloody day with a grands worth of tackle.
Quite pleasant watching a kingfisher doing it's bit too.

Ditto mate - get away about 5 times a year to my syndicate in Devon. Used to go to France 1 a year too, but not been for the last 2 years. Get away day fishing too when I can. Biking and fishing are opposite ends of the sporting spectrum - thought it was just me that's odd!

Hmmmmmm,I only went fishing once when I was in my teens, mate and I decided to go night fishing in Sutton Park. In fact as I was born in Sutton Coldfield Henry V111 gave a piece of it (don’t believe me check it out on line)to me, personally I wanted the bit with the ice cream stall by Powel’s Pool so I could charge rent but apparently it doesn’t work like that.
We borrowed some kit form my uncle, dragged it along with a case of beers from the back garden of my parent house which had a gate straight into the park down to the lake, drank the beer, it pissed down with rain all night and then we dragged the stuff back again the next morning dripping wet and more then a little bit drunk having never even got the rods out the box. First and last time I went fishing.

Looks impressive from the air, my small workshop is there somewhere... My old man is 80 years old, works 7 days a week from 6am till 6pm has one leg lost the other with a winch cable! and pays 99% of the bills! What will become of it in years to come I dread the think.. :S
