Hi guys, A new member, and for my first act, I am looking for a new home for what has been my pride and joy for the last year or so. Check out the details in the for sale section. I've had plenty of fun with her, but she did need some work! The story goes that the battery would not hold its charge for some reason. I changed the battery, as it looked like it needed it, but that was not the answer. I dug a bit deeper reading about over heating Regulators on long trips, but that also seemed to be fine. Hmm well it all came to a head when riding down a dual carriageway, the speedo went off and the electrics slowly died off. Pretty nasty and rough when that happens. Got recovered to a Honda garage (Farnham Honda) for them to have a look at; I was out of my depth. The nice chaps there had bad news; the generator loom had been unwinding and shorting on the housing, which in turn has blown up the regulator. Anyway… after a large whisky, I and a hefty bill, she’s all good…. (apart from being blown over in the storms last week!! Blimin Typical!) So if you are in the market for cheaper option she’s priced well for all the work she’s had done. Thanks for reading, Best of British, Jon G.
welcome Jon, nice bike and sorry you are selling her. Amazed you could post in the for sale section as this was supposed to be off limit to any members how have less then 30-50 posts and been active for a months. Need to look into to that ROB!!! Anywho are you going to buy another Honda?
