    Hi T29 and welcome.

I can give you an honest and categorical 'NO'. They will not fit on.

I encountered this very conundrum recently after buying an RR4 (same tail section as the 5). It had an R & G tail tidy on it. The problem you will encounter is that the black plastic shrouds will not attach/fit around the R & G bracket. I wanted to restore mine to original so took off the R & G and sold it on this forum.

You should see what I mean in the pics below. The distance is different in the area where the black/silver plastics sit. You might be able to devise an added bracket to suit, but this is something I did not consider. The R & G instructions does not alert purchasers to the fact they will not be able to keep the heat shields.

The 2006-7 has a slightly different tail treatment. The black plastics are not the same and not interchangeable. You will see on those instructions that it refers to 2006-7 only.

There is a big learning curve with these bikes as so many have variations between models. You'll learn heaps on here. I can send you a PDF copy of the 2004-5 Honda Service Manual, but you will have to PM me your email address because I can't send through the forum mail.

So... your first bike is a fireblade?

Can’t help you with the tailtidy question although I’d assume they don’t go back on if they attach to the original tail tidy?

However welcome and take it easy on the blade!
