Had so much fun putting a few hundred miles on this today.
Such a waste of a cracking bike to stay in the garage as much as it does.

A future classic, good for you for getting out on it, whats the point in buying these bikes and storing them, just get on and ride em.

The point is, @bradt , that many of us 'storers' share a type of psychological disposition of 'possessiveness'. We see something and want to keep it in pristine condition - much the same as one who buys art and locks it in a vault, never to be seen hanging on a wall. It is possible to trace this trait back to early childhood where we might have been deprived of toys etc, and then in adult life we tend to be in 'make-up' mode forever.:( Speaking for my own situation, I get just as much enjoyment knowing I have some particular relics as I do while riding them. Weirdly, I don't even see them because they're covered!!

The other side to this is that it is GREAT to have these bikes, AND have the ability to take them out as/when we please.

It would be good to hear perspectives of other 'multi-bike' owners like @dessp2 and @hitch for instance.

BTW, nice to see your 'proper' avatar back;).

Totally agree with you Bradt, if it’s in the garage it’s being used.

We have a couple of the previous model at home, nice looking bikes. Prices have risen a lot in the last 2 years :)

Love the styling of the old gixxers
I've got a 2001 600 - the model that dumped the rear hump; had her from new.

My first bike was an SRAD GSXR 600, absolutely loved it, I nicknamed it 'duck arse' due to the rear seat hump! Wish I had some pics of it but it was before the modern era of camera phones unfortunately and in a time when we didn't feel the need to take pictures of everything!
