I've had a slow speed spill on my 08, the RHS fairing is scratched along with the engine case.
I've replaced the nose cone, screen and mirrors with chinese parts.
The nose cone has been painted with a spray can (I'm thinking I should of just claimed on my insurance now)

Can anyone help with a trade in / sale value for an aceraav condition 08 blade?

    Thanks

Depending on the appearance of the repair, the mileage, and the end can, private sell should be in the region of £5100 - £6000.

If it needs right side fairing and engine casing plus bits have been hand painted i’d expect it’d begin with a £4 and if higher mileage it’ll be very low £4 i reckon.

Mint 2015’s with no mileage can be had for £8k.

I was thinking more along the lines of it starting with £3... But I might be thinking worse case scenario

I'm trying to upload photos but the files are too big

Agreed I’ve recently sold my 2015 3k miles for £7500. Next to no interest, I only had one serious buyer after months of advertising.

Open the photo file with Microsoft paint (or similar) and then just reduce the file size by 50% twice. They will then be a manageable size for posting.;)

My opinion is starting with 3 grand would be a VERY worst case scenario, BUT would ensure a quick sale.

Be a great base for a road legal track bike if it started with a £3

Another option for uploading pictures if you are using your mobile is to take a screenshot of the original photo and upload the screenshot. It's a smaller file size and that is the quickest and easiest way to upload when using a mobile.

selling at this time of year is not so good so I would think keep price just under 4k if you want to attract buyers or wait till spring time

Great deal. But I suppose you accepted it was marked down by a grand because of the colour!:D;)

Seriously though, I don't mind that at all. It actually has a class look about it.

Yeah, but a stunning woman will always get a better deal than us guys.

You were probably batting eyelashes and doing the Paris Hilton sashay while salesmen were lining up to make a move on you!!:)

I have thought about using it as a track bike and buying a more upright bike for the road
