You'll lose loads of money doing that! The best option is to sell it to a friend for a mutually beneficial price ;) :D

As mentioned, I am not familiar with PCP, but am familiar with leases where a final 'balloon' payment or 'residual' of approx 50% of the original cost is payable. Does keeping the bike under PCP require a similar percentage payment?

Yes mate, the balloon payment in a pcp is what they call the guaranteed future value. Its what the bike will be worth after the initial 2 or 3 year period given you have stuck to the conditions of the agreement (servicing it, not doing excess miles and keeping it in good condition.) If you haven't looked after it or you have done too many miles you need to make up the difference between what it's actually worth and the guaranteed future value before you can part ex or give it back.

I have all intentions of keeping this one, almost certainly for the term of 36 months. After that I'll see how I feel, I do get very bored of things. But with this bike where do you go from here? It's got all the bells and whistles, it's a one off special. I think I've satisfied my appetite with this one!

Will let you know @Lozzy ;)

2019 has a splash of extra white paint on tank and fairings.

Reportedly has revised (taken to mean 'smoother') throttle operation and extra electronics for 'wheelie control'. I'm STILL waiting for Honda UK after recent follow-up also, to answer my further question about 'backwards compatibility' for the new electronics. Honda has advised that it isn't so I put it to them: 'Can I purchase a 2019 ECU and have it fitted to my 2018 by a dealer?' Just like some forum members:), I don't think my pedantic nature pleases them too much. But the question is relevant!!

Good point about the Repsol though. From what I could find out at the NEC (which wasn't much:rolleyes:) there's red and the matte black.
