Yep and 200-205 wet.. :) When you look at motogp power to weight ratios its shocking!

    for example:-

Casey Stoners Ducati GP9 had a power to weight ratio of 1554bhp per tonne @ 210 - 230bhp

Compared to around 1250bhp per tonne on Hamiltons F1 car!

I got it sussed, I just need to get my weight down to 25 kg then the bike plus rider weight will be the same as a GP12 and all I need to do in addition is get another 100bhp out of the engine...........simples ;)

Ducati planning MotoGP fightback - IOL Motoring | IOL.co.za

ducati dont seem to be giving away any info on the new bike so they either have designed something really special or its no better than last years, lets hope for moto gp's sake rossi and hayden are both regulars on the podium this year

It would be awesome if they were fez but the competition is stiff this year. If you guys had to put money on it who would be the 2012 champ?

if ducati have got the bike right i still believe valentino will be right up there, obviously casey will be up there although i believe pedrosa will challenge this year if he can keep himself fit, sadly i also think marco would have been a regular on the podium this year

Fez - it won't be special, just a red m1! And fair play to them, got to build what works...

Horney - stoner all day, much as I hate him, top talent on the best bike. Simple

yeh you have to build what works, if they re-designed the entire bike it seems rather daft if they have kept the 90 degree V4 as the honda engine was bar far the best and its more compact as i believe it was a 65 degree V4, could be wrong about that though

Either way imo ducati have redesigned and this year will be a development one. AFAIK they need to find @1.5seconds a lap at the minute, and that is a BIG ask since the front runners are looking for 'nths of a second. Would be awesome to see the 'goat' up front by, say, mid season, but I would doubt it. I hope to be proved wrong because I dont think danni can keep it up, he seems to tail off......mmmmmm. Stoner on the other hand is likely to piss off into the distance with lorenzo.

Totally agree mate - but the change in engine will be more of a leveller if you ask me... Should even it up a little, just like when it went to 800s.

Never can write off Rossi, bet they has thrown some serious money at this new bike...

The biggest problem is them pesky hondas....and having the repsol livery gives them extra horsepower. :D
