Hello everyone. Just got rid of my Yamaha R6 (do I need to spit immediately after saying that name round here?) and have put the deposit down on a 2004 1000RR. I'll post pics as soon as I actually get my sweaty mitts on it and am looking forward to poncing lots of free advice and tips from you all Is is free........right??
Welcome fella, be sure to get some pics on when you get her. Most on here appreciate all things two wheeled, you have seen the light after all!!!
Welll no ... there is a small deposit expected with each question Hope that tag is Rich by name and rich by nature .....
Welcome to the forum. Looking foraed toseeng some pics when you pic the blade up. We need pics of the R6 also
I'd reckon that I'll have it by the end of next week. I bloody hope so. I'll be sure to give it a wash before presenting it to the forum. .......and the bike as well
Certainly are, mate. That's kinda why I've gone down the RR route. I want something that doesn't require having its neck wrung and a cup of muscle relaxants after every ride.
Shit front end too. Mine was a 2000 model and no matter what I did I just couldnt get any proper feeling from it. Went round corners ok, just blind faith, lol. Read an article that said if ya get the (standard yammy) can down, you've crashed. It was true! Excuse for a scorpion one tho...
What model R6? And welcome to the forum, make sure to enter your PayPal addy so we can take direct payment for answering your many questions.
Same as mine. Well mine was a 2001 but yeah, same bike. I've found the same problem. It's really flickable and it feels fine in the corners IF the road's smooth. Any slight imperfection in the road surface and you cross your fingers and pray
Welcome to the fray. You will love the Blade. You will get advice freely given on here.............it may be total rubbish, but advice none the less. Quick heads up.........watch out for KPONE!
Just like any other forum then?? Thanks, Steve. "Yeah, mate. You can run your 'Blade on cooking oil. I might be a bit spluttery but it should go"
