    Nah, Dem, safety's fine here. Mrs Paulo has a penchant for thinking she's an English Anna Carasco and to Pauolo's concern frequently straddles the bike for a push along the dining room floor.

    The disc lock is merely a warning to her to keep off. Much more subtle than shouting: 'Get the f*ck off my bike!!':cool::D

    Hey Dem ......the bike being in the house is a temporary measure. Putting the disc lock and chain on is just part of a ritual I've done forever. Dam I'd stick a ground anchor in the middle of kitchen floor if I could.o_O

    Funny thing is I've also started putting the house alarm on everyday! ;)

    I had to zoom in to see that:D
    Can’t see the house insurance liking it either.
    I had a boat engine under my stairs with no petrol and the house insurance did not like it

    How would the house insurance even know about it??

    It's only a temporary measure while my extension is built and then I'll have a nice new heated garage.

    My old bike was in my 10x6 shed which is all boarded out and has a ground anchor but I'm not prepared to put the SP in there yet.....I may do in time but for now it's staying where it is. ;)

    If you have a fire (god forbid) the last thing on your mind will be getting the burnt remains of your bike ok before fire, police and insurance turn up

    Mmm. Not sure about that. It's definitely an 'each to their own' situation.

    For me it's the three 'B's': Bikes, Botox, and Bible.

    Bikes come first;

    Botox second, because I don't want sunken cheeks and lined forehead while facing interviews;

    Bible third, so I can pray to Christ that no-one can claim I'm a friggin' idiot!:D

    Never. As if contained petrol will spontaneously combust in a temperature-controlled environment.:rolleyes:

    Where there's a claim there's an exclusion!

    Before long life insurance won't pay out on death, after all it is called life and not death insurance :D
