It fits a 2011 with ease. Will post up measurements later on if no one else has. (Have to move a few things in my shed)

thanks pal. I want to use it on 2 totally different bikes, RR8 & XTR which has slightly smaller fork spacing and diameter.:)

Just want to avoid it sitting on the edge of the rubber lift cup.

Are you happy with its stability?

Quite happy with stability (when used in conjunction with Ryde rear stand)

    Info as follows:

    Distance external frame: 270mm
    Internal frame: 192mm
    With of pads: 50mm
    Width inside pads: 180mm

you are a star man. Hope wasn't too much trouble finding it.

You wouldn't beleive how many emails went back & forth to ryde (no telephone number listed!)dealing with an total idiot who really didn't know anything about the stand:mad:

Well, I had to forego Jeremy Kyle, go outside in the rain, pull out the mower, bike stands and assorted paraphernalia, bring the Ryde stand inside, put the stuff back in the shed, photograph the stand and then add the detail etc. But that's the kinda guy I am:D.

I can believe the store staff experience. I have suffered similarly with another store, but in contrast, have received unbeatable service from others such as: http://www.rsbikepaint.com/ ; https://www.speedyfasteners.com/Individual_Motorcycle_Parts_s/1868.htm ; https://www.fowlersparts.co.uk/ .

very impressed with your gallant efforts;)
the info was useful and unfortunately my XTR fork spacing is too narrow (around 1cm of support per side) for the stand min spacing. So I have to keep on looking

Could you develop an addition to the stand lug, sort of like a larger pad (where the fork sits on to) you could make or adapt? I think you will find that most stands are pretty much 'universal'.

Other easy option is to find out what XTR owners are using! ;)

yes I've been there and can use my trolley jack for both bikes .

No metal bending facility chez moi unfortunately and do not want to have 2 front stands (space & funds!).

    The search goes on....

I have one of these stands and I must admit I think the stand looks a bit wobberly and I am a bit nervous when it’s on it:eek:

The way something looks compared to the way it functions is two totally different scenarios.

I think it is highly reliant upon the rear end stability, which is why front stands are recommended to not be used on their own (not that I'm suggesting you do that). Absolutely no problem with mine when used in conjunction with the Ryde rear stand.;)

I always have the rear stand on nigel but to me the front looks like it’s ready to fall over to one side:(
    Love the rear one
Makes putting the bike on a stand on your own easy

got the stands and thank goodness it can do both bikes.
It is very solid with very meaty pins.
lifts the CBR without any wobble on the handle bars despite my known clumsiness and insecurity!
On leg needed a lot of tightening to get rid of any movement. The hex head bolt not ideal for this and there is a risk of rounding it off.
