    Hello All,

Just assembling the clutch on my 08 model. When looking at the Haynes manual and offical workshop guide it says the judder plates goes in first for this model. However, mine were fitted by the previous owner where the judder plates were fitted last - as per 09 models onwards.

Can anyone explain why this is the case, and what could be the issue when fitting them the other way? Is this to do with plates or clutch assembly?

Having been plagued by clutch issues in the past, I just don't want to revisit this pain again.

    Cheers,

Thanks Bonjo. I believe the difference is down to the clutch plates. So I have set it up as the specified by 09 onwards. It is how it was when I purchased the bike and it felt fine.
