Thanks guys. I could collect it now but I've got a load on at home so wouldn't get out much if at all in the next few weeks. Waiting until 1st March as a result so will get it on a '12 plate too (for what it's worth!)

Oh I beg to differ benn!! After all the waiting, THE best thing is pick up day!! Seeing her wheeled out in front of you, being handed the keys and riding off to where ever you like...

Worth buying a new bike for...

    Enjoy mate... You lucky git!!

Really nice looking bike there mate.

Top tip if you don't take a pillion, get them to take the pillion pegs off for you. They're a nightmare to get off.

Thanks to everyone for all the replies, advice and the warm welcome. Maybe see some of you at this year's BSB rounds. Definitely doing the 2 x Oulton and Donington ones.

bike booked in for its first service on the 18th feb, managed 400 miles so far, still loving the bike, planning to add honda double bubble tinted screen at first service
oh and investing in some heated gloves, out today for 170miles couple of hot chocolate stops required to warm hands!

Everton - Glad you're still made up with the new bike. I assume it's rolling on Qualifier 2s... Heard real mixed reviews about these tyres. Any observations so far? Cheers.

do you know what ive looked at most of the bike without thinking about what tyres its on , will have a look when i get chance, but i have no complaints with handling or grip, on some wet and slippy roads
will let you know more when ive got service out of the way , oh and confirm what tyres its on

Cheers! Appreciate that. I think they were originally supposed to come on Bridgestone S20s but I understand the UK stock is fitted with the Dunlops... Mine certainly is but I could be wrong about that being the case across the board...

Ive got some Gerbings ones, they are great but I find unless connected to the bike battery instead of the little batteries that slot into the glove they dont last long enough. I was just using my handlebar muffs today
